Works on stubborn hair
I thought this crimping tool worked great. It has a good heat range as well as an adjustable timer. It heats up super fast and creates beautiful waves. My hair has a hard time holding anything but for some reason it worked really well with this hair crimper.

Provides subtle waves on my thick hair
This wave styler heats up quickly and is easy to use as it is lightweight and ergonomically easy to hold and use. The cord is of a good length and the directions are easy to follow. My hair is very thick and coarse and this easily provides a nice subtle wave to my hair. I use a small amount of styling spray after and the waves stay beautifully. I am always looking for different styles for my hair (other than straightening) and this styler provides an alternative way to make my hair wavy.
